Innovation Conference 2010 July 21-22 - The Burning Platform
Innovation is crucial for long-term survival and success in today’s competitive marketplace. For the country, innovation is a source of increasing wealth in the economy. To businesses, innovation can increase productivity through improving quality, efficiency, production, etc.
All businesses, no matter what their field of expertise, can and must innovate. The global economic crisis forced a burning platform dilemma on many a company, mobilising unprecedented creative thinking and strategic action. Many South African companies responded innovatively, while some inadvertently focused on survival, efficiency and cost-cutting, and thereby unintentionally stifling innovation in the short term. The Innovation Conference aims to both celebrate South African innovation successes (despite the global economic scenario) and to re-emphasise the role of innovation in facilitating growth and sustainability.
This two-day conference will showcase some of SA’s best innovation case studies and strategic imperatives to apply in your organisation, be it corporate, SMME or government.
More information: Innovation Conference July 21 - 22 in Johannesburg South Africa.
Freda Gay, one of the key-speakers during the Conference, will address the topic: Enabling Mastery Drives Employee Innovation.
